Bath Time
It was only from the late 1800s, that people began regularly washing and the first enameled cast-iron bath was designed in 1883. Historic baths when filled with water can weigh up to ¼ of a tonne so it is important when buying or moving a bath to ensure that the floor structure can accommodate this load.
